Clinical Study to Determine the Efficacy of Percutaneous Vertebroplasty in Management of Osteoporotic Compression Fracture

Introduction: Back pain and spinal deformity are common presentation in majority of senile osteoporoticvertebral compression fracture. Vertebroplasty provides relief with correction andleast period hospital stay.Material Method: Twenty patients underwent vertebroplasty clinical evaluation was doneby recording the VAS score done preoperatively after surgery.Result: Percutaneous 1 year followup.VAS 52% were excellent,14% good and34% fair result.Conclusion: is useful management vertebral fracture which refractoryto conservative treatment & helps early mobilization.
